# WanGP Individual Contributor License Agreement

Thank you for contributing to WanGP (also known as Wan2GP). This agreement explains the rights you give to the project owner when you contribute, so that WanGP can stay maintained, relicensed if needed and offered under several licences, including commercial ones. You keep the copyright in your work.

## 1. Definitions

- **"Licensor"**: DeepBeepMeep, the owner and maintainer of WanGP.
- **"You"**: the individual who signs this agreement. If you contribute on behalf of an employer or another organization, that organization must agree to these terms too.
- **"Contribution"**: any code, documentation, data, artwork or other material that You submit to WanGP (pull requests, patches, issues with code, files sent to the Licensor), including Contributions submitted before You signed this agreement.

## 2. Copyright licence

You grant the Licensor, and recipients of software distributed by the Licensor, a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to reproduce, modify, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense and distribute Your Contributions and such derivative works.

This licence includes the right for the Licensor to license Your Contributions, alone or as part of WanGP, under any terms of the Licensor's choice, including the WanGP Community License, other open-source or source-available licences, and commercial licences.

## 3. Patent licence

You grant the Licensor, and recipients of software distributed by the Licensor, a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent licence to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import and otherwise transfer Your Contributions, for patent claims licensable by You that are necessarily infringed by Your Contributions alone or by their combination with WanGP.

## 4. Your ownership

Except for the licences granted above, You keep all right, title and interest in Your Contributions.

## 5. Your statements

You confirm that:

1. each Contribution is Your original creation, or You have the right to submit it under this agreement;
2. if Your employer or another party has rights in Your Contributions, You have its permission to make them, or it has agreed to this agreement;
3. any part of a Contribution that comes from someone else (third-party code, models, data, assets) is identified in the submission with its source and licence;
4. to Your knowledge, Your Contributions do not infringe anyone's rights.

You will tell the Licensor if any of these statements stops being true.

## 6. No obligations

The Licensor is not required to use or include any Contribution. Contributions are provided "as is", without warranties or conditions of any kind, and You are not required to provide support for them.

## 7. Signing

You sign this agreement by stating in Your pull request, or in a comment on it:

> I have read the WanGP Contributor License Agreement (.github/CLA.md) and I agree to it for this and all my previous Contributions to WanGP.

Signing once covers all Your Contributions, past and future, unless You notify the Licensor in writing that it no longer applies to future Contributions.
